The Community Centre provides a focus for community activities – leisure, recreation arts and entertainment. Local voluntary clubs and groups organise regular activities in the Centre, with visiting bands, theatre and other groups providing entertainment. The After School Club and Youth Club provide care and activities for young people.
The centre is staffed by a part time co-ordinator (19 hours per week, worked flexibly) and a caretaker (15 hours per week  also flexible hours).  This means that if you wish to speak to someone or drop in, then its best to ring or email first to check someone is in.  We try to open the office Mon & Wed mornings at the very least and at other times to meet demands.  Please don't try to post business adverts, this page is for promoting activities at the community centre and environs.

This is an exciting event and an opportunity for Coldstream to showcase our community spirit! Let's get the bikes out and decorate the town. The Community Centre will be open on the day. #lovewhereyoulive The opening two stages of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain this September will take place in Scotland for the first time in modern history, with the Scottish Borders hosts an entire stage for the first time on Sunday 8 September. Thank you to all of you who visited the Community Centre during Civic Week. Whether you bought some handicrafts, or enjoyed the art exhibition, or had a coffee and a cake in our cafe, we appreciate your support. It was a trying week with power cuts and extreme weather meaning the drama production had to be cancelled. However, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and will continue to support your Community Centre, because as most of you know, we are nearly entirely self funded these days and therefore reliant on all income from events as our regular income from users of the Centre only covers around half of our overheads. #useitorloseit #lovewhereyoulive This beautiful image from an unusual viewpoint is courtesy of Ewan Bootman photography, for our use only. ©ewanbootman https://ewanbootman.photoshelter.com/archive
