The Waiting Room
Description
Maker Space + DIY Events Venue + Open Kitchen What is the Waiting Room?
A DIY Venue providing shared access to a presentation and performance space for people to self organise gigs and events.
A physical workshop with a growing list of tools and equipment for local artists and makers.
An Open Kitchen for up-and-coming chefs and food producers to develop their skills and prototype new ideas.
Our do-it-yourself cooperative ethos means we can try new things, take risks and provide a home for unique, cutting-edge, alternative content – stuff you don’t get elsewhere.
Every penny you spend at our events is reinvested directly into developing our workshop, venue and open kitchen, to support local makers and artists.
