Swallow Bespoke Bicycles
Description
Based at Bicycles by Design, Coalport, Shropshire, TF8 7HT Since 1981, Swallow has hand-built bespoke frames for discerning clients around the World. Each Swallow frame is unique to match the owner's size, needs and style.
You will speak with the person that will design and build your frame during a detailed consultation, using a Calfee sizing jig and BikeCAD Pro.
We use Reynolds 953, Columbus and other selected stainless and steel tubing with fillet brazing or hand-cut lugs to achieve exactly the bicycle or tandem you desire.
Adventurous clients can also build their own frames with one-to-one tuition on our frame-building courses.

So here' the ride - amazing weather and had great fun sharing it with Ian Clarke, Steve and Lindsey Clarke from the Clarion and Tim Ward from Schwalbe https://www.strava.com/activities/1043170614/share/facebook?utm_content=8097671&utm_medium=email&utm_source=ride_share
Rob's bike ready for Eroica 2017 - this post is a bit 'post event' due to a slight technical glitch. However, check out the 1987 Max frame, with original Swallow and Campag bottles. Also the original Avocet computer - this cost £24.95 in 1985, which bearing in mind a Brooks B17 cost £18.90 then, and now costs £90, that makes the computer cost now about £130 - for 5 functions!
Swallow number SW057, built circa '80 and still ridden by its original owner before it became hip! Proudly ridden by his son now.
