Love Food, Live Lahore...x The MyLahore story began in 2002 when two cousins Shak & Asghar acquired the lease to a run down restaurant and set about transforming the eating habits of Bradford locals and the city’s student population.

Fuelled by their experience of working within their father’s traditional curry shops from a young age, a loan from an older brother and support from all the family members they set about on a journey of doing things a little differently.

Their approach was to bring an up-tempo atmosphere to the city’s curry culture, at the same time encouraging an innovative Western influence and to completely radicalize the local food industry.

The fledgling concept soon became focused on three key areas - quality of food, relaxed environment and fulfilling experience - a mantra the establishment and its staff still live by to this day.

Electing to retain the restaurant’s existing name (Lahore is an exciting, cosmopolitan and energetic city in Pakistan which is famous for its amazing food), a stylish, funky new look targeting individuals who appreciate high standards and modern lifestyles was created and the remodeled Lahore became a huge success overnight.

By immediately establishing and maintaining high levels of customer service, Lahore has become renowned for its bustling atmosphere, great music and most importantly the delicious range of food and drink on offer - a reputation it still holds to this day and one which continues to appeal to new and existing customers alike.

Due largely to high demand, My Lahore opened a second branch further up Great Horton Road in April 2007, this time re-focusing the concept to cater for drop-in visitors wanting quality food on the go and those requiring a delivery service.

The Deli Bar followed with the same immediate success experienced by the Café Bar and the operation has further benefited from the launch of a highly efficient online ordering system, implemented earlier this year.

The aim is to take the concept to all the people who love and appreciate great food, wherever they are!
