DPGC is a private members club situated at the Championship Golf Course, designed by the famous Hawtree family back in the Queens silver jubilee. Welcome to Duxbury Park Golf Clubs official Facebook page. Our 6390 yard 18 hole Championship Golf Course, designed by the famous Hawtree family back in the Queens silver jubilee year, has been laid out around the original historic grounds of Duxbury estate. The 180 acres of rolling Lancashire countryside provides a challenge for both Amateur and Professional golfers alike.
Regarded by many as the best laid out Municipal Golf Course in England, Duxbury Park is a partnership between Chorley Borough Council and Glendale Golf, who administer and maintain the course.
Duxbury Park Golf Club is an integral part of this relationship and offers members a friendly, competitive environment in which to enjoy and improve ones golf. Competitions are held most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the golfing season which runs from April to October.
New members are always welcome and application forms are available from the Secretary or any Committee Member.

Day one of the captains weekend is over, all to play for in day 2. Excellent refreshment by the Captain and family at half way. The course was in beautiful Condition and the weather was great. Bit of a dodgy forecast for Sunday unfortunately. Good luck everyone! 🏌️♂️🏆

East Lancashire Golf Association
A massive Thank you to all who supported our annual Derian House charity day yesterday. Thanks to Glendale for preparing a great course in excellent condition together with the bar and catering staff all of whom worked extremely hard and Linda Cottam and Tracey Buckley for running the raffle and helping on the desk. Here are the final results. 1st Mike Draper, Brian Broadbridge, David Grahame and Eddie Tickle won the John Collins Trophy and £240 worth of vouchers. With 90pts 2nd Tom McCauley, C Topping, I Gallagher, G Benson win £160 worth of vouchers with 89pts 3rd Ste Lowe, Ian Nicholson, Colin Donelan and Steve Sumner win £80 worth of vouchers with 87 pts after card play off. Longest Drive Anthony Dabbs Nearest Pin M Bridge Best 17/18 with 16 pts were T. Robinson, S. Bowers, A. Picton, G. Bricalli There were 10 twos each team received a box of Srixon AD333 balls Together with the matching donation of £1000 from Barclays, Overall we raised £2168 for Derian House. Thank you all, and we hope to see you all at our Open on the 11/08/19. 🏌️♂️

This evening Duxbury Park golf club had the pleasure to host the annual East Lancashire Golf Association Captains & Secretaries match. We would like to thank all the 2019 caps and secs for attending and we hope you all enjoyed the event. We would also like to thank all the Green staff, bar and restaurant staff for hosting us and for all their hard work making the event a success.
