Barreg Cycles
Description
We have a weakness for two and three wheel transport, a love of things artisan, British, idiosyncratic and of Italian conception!!! (The story here at Fishbourne can be traced back to 64AD with the first Roman imports) Trading continuously from humble beginnings in 1983, with mobile service and repair from Fishbourne utilizing an old Panther motorcycle combination.
Pa used the same beast right through college as personal transport to and around Bangor North Wales, he still has an "affliction" for three wheels today.
The summer of 1985 found us at the present main road address where motorcycles, sidecars, bicycles and lawnmowers all played a part.
Together with the security dogs, geese, chickens and a large rescued cockerel that roosted in the shop window (he was also a very alert baby alarm and crowed if we stirred.)
More time local to the house and shop with the young family (thats us) kept pa away from his motorcycle shed and slowly the bicycles reclaimed his "affections" repairing them in and around the shop to this day. Come by and you`ll see!
