The beautiful game has been played in Staveley for well over a hundred years and in 1883 a Staveley side beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 in the F.A Cup in 1883.

Todays trip to Maltby Main FC
Sorry but our @CentralMidFL game for our Reserves v @DronfieldTownFC Res is postponed today due to ice and standing water on the pitch and spectator areas - common sense prevails 👍
morning hope you all enjoyed yesterday - no match for us today (which is probably a good thing to be fair) but just a note to say if you bought a programme at our last game v Maltby 23rd December the "Coming soon" page has a few errors - namely the dates when our forthcoming games are to be played so just for clarification the two in there should read - Maltby Main away on Saturday 30th at 3pm (bus going at 12:45pm) and Liversedge at home on Wednesday 3rd January 2018 at 7:45pm - thank you

time to find something else to do today folks as both the first teams game away at liversedge and the reserves home game against Brodsworth Welfare are postponed 😑 - we'll try again on the 23rd December for the first teams HOME game v Maltby Main and the Reserves away at Welbeck
