Early this morning, with the sun just tipping over the brow of Cleeve Hill,I dropped in on the Quilt crew at Woodmancote. There was a frenzied buzz as helpers pinned quilts to every surface. It's going to be quite a show,so do try to go.

It was the final day for our NCS group today but what an impression they have left us with, a golden throne, fit for a king, made of unwanted vhs tapes, and a fantastic selection of home baked goodies. Thank you

A productive day despite the rain
Welcome to the Young Gloucestershire team starting out on their 2 week National Citizen Service placement with us. Lots of exciting ideas discussed already, watch this space!
Fine dining and great company. On wednesday of this week I joined the Rotary Club of Gloucester (Severn) at Bowden Hall for their regular meeting and subjected them to 'the talk'. What a great gang of blokes ! It was a fine way to spend an evening. At the end of the proceedings the President, Mike Till, presented me with a cheque for £400.00 too. Thank you all for your interest and friendship.
CARE FULL ! Another crazy week, full of outings and visitations. Without doubt one of the highlights of the week was the visit of Professor Ted Baker, Chief Inspector of Hospitals at the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Intorduced by Bren McInerney, Ted spent more than an hour with us,delving into all areas of the site, meeting and chatting with everyone. He was a delightful man and we thank both he and Bren for their time and obvious interest. I must extend a special thanks to Nathan too, who once again demonstrated care and kindness in supporting our visitors throughout their visit.
