Theatrics Performance Group is a Musical Theatre school, providing quality training in Speech + Drama, Singing and Performance! Theatrics Performance Group is an established Theatre Group that has been running in Cheltenham for over 4 years.
It is run by London trained Performer, Emily Samways. Emily has been trained in all disciplines of Musical Theatre, and is keen to pass on her knowledge to the next generation of performers. She has worked professionally on several contracts both abroad and in the UK. Her most recent and favourite job was working as a vocalist at Disneyland Paris! Emily feels that her active participation in the industry acts as inspiration to the children to work hard and follow their dreams.
Emily runs weekly Speech and Drama workshops and offers and private Singing tuition. Within the classes, Emily tries to find the best balance of technical exercises and performance. To do this, she is always working the children towards a performance, whether it be a show, competition or an end of term recital. The end of term recitals are perfect opportunities to put into practice all that has been learnt, get up in front of your peers, friends and family and show off your new skills. It is totally relaxed with no pressure of competition, but a nice way to build confidence and encourage the children's progression.
Emily has been training some of her students for over 4 years, but is always keen to welcome new recruits! She is based across a couple of venues within Cheltenham to run the classes, including St Pauls Hall, Shurdington and Leckhampton Village Hall. She also uses the fantastic stage and facilities at St Gregory's Junior School for holiday courses and shows.

Our Annie script is finished, songs all selected and tracks prepared! This afternoon it’s time to buy material and costumes, and organise folders ready for our team on Monday! 🌟 Very excited to start our 7th year of holiday courses next week with our version of Annie! 😊

🌟 As Easter School preparation is well under way, I’m pleased to announce our two Summer School dates: Monday 30th July - Friday 3rd August, for children in school years 4-11. Monday 20th August - Friday 24th August, for children in school years 7-13. 🌟 Save the dates! 🌟 Full details will be released after Easter!

Had a great day yesterday at Cheltenham Town Hall at the Feet First Dance Festival! 🌟 my team from St Gregory’s closed the event in style with an amazing performance inspired by The Greatest Showman! Well done all- it was definitely my dance of the day! 💃🌟

EASTER SCHOOL 2018! Really pleased to announce that our 2018 Easter Week will run from 9-13th April, and we will be working on the fabulous musical 'Annie'! An intensive week long Musical Theatre course, with classes in acting, dance, singing and performance skills.
