Description
MURAL SPECIALIST Welcome to the Murals By Danny Bench Facebook Page.
Here you can view images of my extensive portfolio of artwork, Exclusively designed and hand painted by myself, these great looking murals are a neat and cost effective way of transforming your children's' rooms.
So a little about me, Well, I'm approachable and friendly, a careful, respectful worker and I take pride in my art, I love my job and seeing the smiles on faces when a room is completed makes all the hard work very worth while, my customers are always satisfied with the results and I receive only very high compliments and am recommended to other friends and family.
My painting styles are perfect for both kids and adults alike. For children my portfolio includes classic Disney-style bedrooms, jungle murals, Dinosaur & woodland scenes, sci-fi, fantasy and fairy-tale style rooms, plus versions of popular kid's themes.
For adults I offer beautiful trompe l'oeil, false windows with a beautiful scene, landscape styles & realistic skies & natural sunsets.
If you are considering asking me to do some artwork for you, please contact me so we can discuss your ideas, I will then ideally like to see the room/s in question this way I can get a better idea of what would look good and get a feel for the mural layout. As you can imagine a mural is more costly than just standard decorating of a room, but is so much more appealing, working with the client/s best interest in mind I am sure that I can create something for you within your budget.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or advice.
Regards
Danny Bench

The Legal Vandal strikes again!!!
These 2 murals were painted for my clients boy into his street dancing. The brief was to paint a B-Boy in a street style, so using an image provided by the clients, I painted him onto a city scene 'reverse' silhouette background. Adding the words 'Dance' and 'B-Boy' below. As the other wall looked bare, I painted his name 'Harlie' in graffiti with a little graffiti character next to it. The little boy was over the moon with it...but his little sister bless her got upset because she didn't have anything in her room! Being the kind hearted kind of guy I am ;) I added a pink and white sparkly background to some vinyl lettering the client had brought for her. 2 happy little clients :)
These murals were painted for my client & friend in the bedroom of his son Ashley. I recently updated Ashleys playroom mural by adding Falcon into the Iron man & Spiderman piece I painted 3 years ago. Ashley wanted some more Marvel characters in his new bedroom requesting Captain America, Hulk & Thor. With it being a small bedroom, I made Captain America smashing through the wall as the main piece above the bed. I then painted Hulks fist smashing through the wall and Thors Hammer in the wall either side of the TV. (Walls to be sealed with clear lacquer.)
This wall mural was painted for my client/friend in the viewing room of his French Bulldog breeding business. First I painted the wall in Black matt emulsion to give it a base, then painted the logo of the dog and company name using a rose gold colour, adding a few highlights to give it a sparkle. Gloss varnish to be applied.
This large bedroom wall mural was originally painted back in March 2015 for my good friend & client Tony Hill. I painted a london city scene with Iron Man & Spiderman as the main characters for Tony's son Ashley, mad on Marvel superheroes. This was the first piece I painted after taking 28 days away from work for personal reasons. Both myself and the client were really happy with the final piece. I was asked back by Tony to paint a few other murals around the house, 1) being a French Bulldog logo for his dog breeding business (photos up asap) The 2nd mural of Hulks fist and Thors Hammer smashing through the wall in Ashleys new bedroom (photos up asap). The last mural was to include Marvels 'Falcon' onto my original mural. Being the perfectionist I am, I knew that after 3 years I could update and give Iron Man & Spiderman so much more detail. I have included before and after photos to show how different 3 years hard work and learnt techniques pays off.
This mural was painted for my client in the bar which he installed in his converted garage. My client an 'Old Skool' DJ & music enthusiast wanted me to paint some graffiti incorporating his love for music and to also include his 2 children into the piece. I came up with the idea of making the walls look derelict with exposed 'fake' brickwork and added the murals onto the 2 main walls. I painted the 2 children in a graffiti style behind a set of decks, adding personal details to the clothing. On the other wall I painted various music styles in graffiti lettering and added some tags. This was such a fun mural to paint and in such a cool room!
MbyDB - THE STAR WARS MURAL (FEB 2017)
MbyDB - THE COMPLETED STAR WARS MURAL (FEB 2017)
This mural was painted for my clients who contacted me requiring some wall artwork in their 3 sons bedroom. The brief was to paint a mural in the style of an Avengers city battle scene and to include the 3 boys favourite Avengers characters (Hulk, Ironman & Spiderman) Also required were 3 supercars in specific colours. The mural was painted on 1 wall of the bedroom and also covered the back of the bedroom door, skirting & architrave. I also painted an old wooden toy box in an Avengers style, adding vinyl lettering of the 3 boys names. Loved doing this piece, even more so as 2 of the boys have medical conditions and to see the smiles on their faces when they saw the room makes my job so rewarding.
MbyDB - Avengers Battle Mural - Groovin N Movin (No dad dancing!!)
This room was created for my clients son mad on 'Cars' especially Lightning McQueen. I painted the cars in a 3D wall smash style with the main character at the front and others in the background. I also painted 'Radiator Springs' through an fake hole in the wall. Finishing of with a little 'Piston Cup' badge on the opposite wall. Loved painting this one and the little client was over the moon with it.
