You were expecting some good looking leatherwork here eh?... I've started the year with half a dozen jobs on my work board this year, first year thats happened in 4 years since starting my business. I'm presently carving a tiny 2" logo onto a piece of veg-tan and going a bit cross-eyed doing it (reason for the daft pic) The other jobs I have on the list I may have permission to show you once they are done, some interesting things, Steampunk Drinking horn, Vape battery/Bottle case, and a beloved bag re-creation, please be patient.

Hi everybody!, as today i've responded to a few enquiries about future projects today, I thought I would make it clear I that the CLOSING DATE FOR SEASONAL ORDERS WILL BE THE LAST DAY OF NOVEMBER (possibly sooner if it gets busy) The reason for this is that I need the time to make them and get them to you before the postal/courier system gets snowed with seasonal post. A personalised design to protect a favourite mod. The customer chose their own design and the time on the watch was adjusted to show a particular moment they treasure. A very sweet touch to what turned out to be a very nice looking cover. All made from 2mm Veg-tan hand carved, coloured, finished and stitched.

Shotgun Slip (32" Beretta) : A personalised slip for a treasured weapon. The slip is 2mm hand dyed veg-tan, lined with a non-acidic artificial fleece, all hand stitched. The buckles are all stainless steel to avoid corrosion in the future. It has an adjustable shoulder sling, a boxed muzzle section, and a capped lower seam.

I replied to a shipping email just to say "thank you, it's arrived safe, good service" and the ended up with a commission to do a Steampunk styled dog collar and leash! Strange how things happen eh? A decorated and cushion lined 2" wide collar and with solid brass hardware and guilt decorations and rivets. The buckle & strap on the collar are designed to be replaceable as these take the most wear in use and the lining leather is polyester coated so its easily wiped down to clean it but is still soft on the dogs fur and neck. The body of the collar and leash are dyed and then carnauba waxed so once used will soften easily and age well with plenty of character.

A custom order, a wallet with a stylised wolf's head logo from a favourite TV drama, given as an Anniversary gift. It's a tri-fold wallet with 4x card slots (plus a hidden slot) and a generous paper money section. complete with a welded chain and belt loop.

My apologies to you all for the lack of updates on the Hart Leathercraft page, things have been very busy lately and I have a lot of photos of work to check over and colour correct before I post them, some interesting jobs too. A custom order for a sprung saddle, the client supplied a prepared steel base and their own shaped foam pad, the base was painted to avoid rust, the foam bonded in place and the cover made to the clients spec, and wet fitted and laced in place.

Custom Tri-fold wallet (Indian Design)

I love it when people come asking for their own variation of a project. this is a similar style wallet to the "Vaping Biker" one in my pics but with the customers own ideas for the design. The logo for his "pride and joy" motorcycle and a suitable image to match the way he has customised it and hint to the logo of his bike club too - a completely personal wallet.
