John and Sharon Bell welcome you to our cosy Bed and Breakfast and Dining Room in beautiful Kintyre. We aim to make your visit an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

The Ashbank is located in the beautiful fishing village of Carradale on the east coast of the Kintyre peninsula, with views across the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran and Ailsa Craig.

We are in an ideal location, being just a short walk from sandy beaches and the working harbour. Situated in the heart of the village, we have a different walk for every day of the week, starting from our front door! The Kintyre Way runs through Carradale, making us a great base for Kintyre Way walkers and cyclists alike. The hotel is also within easy access to all ferry ports to the surrounding islands of Islay, Jura, Arran and Gigha.

Our dining room and bar is open from 6.00pm Monday to Friday and from 12.30pm at the weekend during the winter months and from 12.30pm every day in the summer.

We serve light lunches, scrummy cakes and afternoon tea during the day and have a more substantial menu available in the evening.

The Ashbank is the perfect venue for those wanting to get away from it all, whether you’re looking for a relaxing time or an activity filled break.  Sightseeing, playing a round of golf, walking one of the trails and paths around Carradale, or enjoying the many activities in the area – you’re to enjoy your stay at the Ashbank.
