Have loved how the week has begun- some clients have been (what feels like to them) tortured and 'chained' up to a belt around their waist pulling weight in bear crawl positions across the gym floor, others battling with the battle rope- some winning their tentative relationship with press ups...various ages..giving it 100%!! And now for Tuesday- bring on Abs class please...again! Much of what I do in class can be tried at home....this pic shows just some of them...will you try?

Ah the 'superfood' term. I do not mind it too much but there is some press out there against it. Incase you are less sure....this is not simply a con about duping us into believing something is uber healthy when it is not. It is more about promoting a more expensive item over another...making it more 'hip' and hiking the price up when in actual fact, both products can offer the same fabulous nutritious values as the other... one for less pennies. The Kale versus Broccoli example is perfect ( Kale sounds more....exotic...!)- note similar values but Vitamin A in Kale wipes the floor with Broccoli. Stick with learning about a vast majority of healthy dietary foods- really it does not matter which is better for you 24/7...its about simply ensuring you learn what the good or better ones are....keep eating them...and keep it varied. I love Kale....but for all reasons above....today I am loving Broccoli! ( tomorrow will be a Spinach day...!)

In a nutshell....it means this....products on supermarket shelves will be able to get the 'sugarwise' accreditation if they have no added sugar and less than 5% of free sugars. Tesco is already onboard. Footnote/keeping it brief.... the accurate measure of any sugars is still being worked on..but this is a step way above the current 'traffic light' system- really good news- healthy always/sometimes/or never :-)

Beautiful day for sweating out a cold currently on exit...aside from.. 1: worm appears right in the middle of my skipping rope range...no worm...u dont want to hang about there 2: Mid skip the handle flies off. 3: Focus on nothing other than just how uneven the garden slabs are #selfinflictanklesprain. That aside....high knee sprints/skips/MBall moves/squats complete- Au Revoir cold
