MINI Cooper S R53 in today with an extremely loud exhaust! The manifold had snapped at the pre-car as can be seen in the picture... New manifold fitted and it’s back to the nice tone from the resonated Milltek stainless system... Power steering issue with this car was also traced back to a failing battery, so a replacement battery fitted and power steering is now working correctly once again.

Another gearbox build, today a bit different from the usual MINI... Today we were building a Quaife 5 speed straight cut sequential gearbox for a Honda Civic type R race car... We changed out the M-factory ATB differential for an M-factory 1.5 way plate type item... The gearbox will use a geartronics kit for digital gear indication and flat shift. This should make a big difference to both lap times and reliability for use in the Super Lap Scotland events...
Our championship winning car from 2017 back out on circuit yesterday for the first pre season test with its new owner Jake Hutchison...very productive test session and Jake is taking to the car seamlessly! Some very promising laps in some extreme weather conditions!
