Another huge weekend coming up folks! Friday 12th we have a real treat in store with the fantastic John Verity Band keeping us entertained from 9.30pm God gave rock'n'roll to you...and we're just keeping it going! Not only an accomplished artist in his own right John is also known for his time with former Zombie's founder Rod Argent's, Argent and other top performers as Charlie, Phoenix & Motorhead. You really don't want to miss this one!! And as if that wasn't enough awsomeness this Saturday sees the return of our very own Maybe DC, an absolutely stellar ACDC tribute band. For those about to rock (at the Riverside this weekend) we salute you!

We are on the lookout for Bar/Waiting staff, it's a seasonal position but both Full & Part time hours are available to suit. Another great bank holiday weekend of entertainment coming up. Friday sees the return of the utterly sensational power blues/rock trio - Tom Kilner band live from 9.30pm. One of the best live bands we've ever had here and I'm so pleased to welcome them back as part of their Scottish tour, seriously people these guys are not too be missed. And Saturday we have local heroes of rock & roll The Hilaroos live form 9.30pm. All your favourite rock classics from the last 5 decades and who knows, maybe a bit of ceilidh rock too... Sure to be another great weekend.

Live tonight from 9.30pm Philip Anthony Some of you may recognise him as the former frontman of Van Kleef who are without doubt one of the best rock bands we've had play here. Now a solo performer covering all the rock greats spanning 70's through to modern times with his 1 man rock show. Sure to be another great night at the Riverside. See you there

Live entertainment this Easter weekend kicks off Friday at 9.30 with the incredible Reece Hillis. 2014 young blues musician of the year nominee Reece seamlessly blends blues/folk/soul and rock into one great night of music that's not to be missed, not only is he an outstanding vocalist but he is honestly one of the greatest guitar players I've heard. It's like Robert Johnson and John Martyn had a love child... Saturday sees the return of the mighty Braclinn, live and Dangerous from 9.30pm. After extensive touring with AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and The Who Brian McKay grew tired of the rock & roll lifestyle (out past 10, speedballing ovaltine & horlicks) and retired to Callander to team up with former Supremes singers Jimmy & Ronnie. Together they formed Braclinn and with they're irreverent blend of Traditional Scottish Folk Music and swearing they've been wowing crowds from Leny road to Main Street ever since. Not to be missed.

Live this Saturday(8th) from 9.30pm blues/rock trio KWAK We're really excited to have the guys play here for the first time so come on down and join us for what is sure to be another great Saturday of live music at the Riverside.

John Verity Band

A true survivor, the first John Verity Band was gigging in 1969 before John moved on to join Argent, Phoenix and Charlie. John has also worked with the likes of Motorhead, Colin Blunstone and The Searchers. John reformed JVB in 2001, and has been wowing the crowds ever since. See more at johnverity.com
