2cv Mad Cows
Description
2CV Mad Cows club, Bury St Edmunds, meeting at the Manger, Bradfield Combust normally 3rd Wednesday of each month. No, we are not mad, merely a group of friendly people, who enjoy our cars. Hopefully the BSE abbreviation is self-explanatory or should be to anyone from the Bury St. Edmunds area.
If your 2CV is a focal point of your life, a pet love, an ageing work-horse, or merely a daily means of transport, we would love to meet you. Don't worry - we are not petrol-heads; we don't spend our evenings discussing the finer points of our engines - although if you need a little mechanical help our combined wisdom (or lack of it) may be able to solve your problem.
Our group started in March 1995, and is small, very informal and enthusiastic. Our meetings involve family groups, with members of all ages. We enjoy getting together for a quiet drink in pleasant surroundings with good friends, and occasionally going for a drive. We have no membership subscription - although we do prefer our members to belong to our parent group, 2CVGB.
Our meetings are on the third Wednesday of every month. Feel free to come and join us at our normal meeting place - or at any rate starting point - "The Manger" at Bradfield Combust, on the A134 Sudbury road, four miles south of Bury St Edmunds. We are normally there from 8.00 onwards - unless it is an evening with a special event. If in doubt, phone Phil or John to confirm arrangements.
Happy 2CV-ing

Change of plan for March. As one or two of us are suffering with arm / shoulder problems (it's an age thing!) we've decided that bowling might not be a good idea. So instead we'll meet as usual in the Manger and exercise our arms gently lifting the occasional glass. We may even fortify ourselves by having something to eat. And please remember that the March meeting is NOT on the usual third Wednesday
