Inspired by the recent successful ascent of the Mazeno ridge we aim to inspire a movement of exploration through individuality, originality and attitude. At Mazeno, we believe in being inspired by the adventures of exploration. Through learning, seeing and being part of the adventures and explorations that occur by individuals and teams around the world we want to inspire others of what adventure and exploration can provide through individuality, originality and attitude of our outdoor clothing range.
The name Mazeno has come from the inspirational story and achievement of Sandy and Rick Allen who after exhaustion, hunger and frostbite conquered the “last great problem of the Himalayas”.
The Mazeno Ridge was the last unclimbed ridge in the world covering 14 peaks over 8000 meters and requiring 13km of perilous and technical climbing as well massive commitment and endurance due to the committing proposition of the ridge. Many had tried and failed previously but with true spirit and determination Sandy and Rick completed the ordeal in 2012.
The story has had a huge effect on the team at Mazeno resulting in the business being formed to create inspirational clothing covering all forms of outdoors adventuring from biking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing and surfing.
We are aiming to inspire others to explore the outdoors and achieve their own Mazeno ridge stories.
Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned pro we aim to help people take that step into the outdoors doing whichever activity or passion they have to create a movement of adventure.
