Hope you have all had a lovely Easter.. Please be aware that adders are out in force, their bites can have an adverse affect on the dogs as well as bee stings. Relentless scratching , once discovered under the hair , skin very iinflamed ( can look like mange ) and become infected if not treated , luckily we had noticed a dog behaving in this way and spent Easter Sunday at our vet. Treatment is anti biotics and bathing with salty water ....Also the common has very terse bracken , all dogs with fine skin/ hair are now to be coated on walks no matter what the weather, so please ensure coats are bought along so they can join the walks. thankyou , Mandy & Mac

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Dumbledog. We have been looking after Dumble for the past 4 years and, like all of the dogs who come to stay, was part of our family. We will miss you so much Dumble. Thoughts are with the Reed family xxx
