Site inspection to fit a fire and found this dangerous situation. Literally hanging by a thread with string, foil and masking tape. Fire capped off, paperwork filed and balanced flue fire ordered for customer so no longer needing to use flue up to roof.

Remember a gas appliance thats not been inspected annually or serviced by a gas safe engineer for a long time could have you showing symptoms described in this picture. Services are £50. Call with your appliance details for a free quote as some appliances require parts as part of the manufacturers service procedure. Remember carbon monoxide is known as the 'silent killer' The symptoms of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning are often mistaken for the flu, food poisoning or a even a hangover.
