A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the defibrillator fund this week. The importance of the defib came to light a couple of weeks ago when it had to be used; thankfully there was a successful outcome and our runner is making a remarkable recovery. However, the batteries and pads need replacing and this costs money ....... Lots of it! We would greatly appreciate any donations so that we can keep this vital piece of equipment up and running. Thank you, The Core Team #DFYB

We have spoken to the runner's wife and they are both very greatful for the assistance provided by the volunteers and runners. Also a huge thank you to everyone that donated to our defibrillator fund. We hoped that we would never have to use it but we are so greatful for your generosity and kind donations as today it saved a life x
