RGF Logistics Ltd have taken delivery of the new generation Scania. It represents the very latest advances in automotive technology for heavy-duty trucks Scania trucks are fitted with safety systems that can trigger appropriate controls. This includes ESP (electronic stability programme) to monitor key stability parameters, and Scania LDW (lane departure warning) to warn drivers if their vehicle unintentionally crosses lane markings and with the all-round camera safety equipment that is designed to reduce the risk of close-proximity incidents involving vulnerable road users. Means this truck meets the Silver accreditation and confirms we comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation our fleet is compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk) the driver has undergone A Safe urban cycle course and other appropriate training together this makes our vehicle one of the safest on UK roads today.

RGF Logistics would like to congratulate our driver Scott, who this morning, passed his LGV cat C+E test with our in-house training. After 4 days instruction behind the wheel Scott passed his test with just 4 minor points thus continuing to make us proud of our extremely high first time pass rate, Because our training takes place on the job, it is highly realistic We train our drivers to do well not only on their HGV test but also throughout the entire career as a professional driver with RGF Logistics Ltd.

RGF Logistics are exploring the use of LNG as a transport fuel for trucks with potential economic and environmental benefits compared to diesel and fuel. LNG has the potential to offer fuel cost savings when compared to conventional diesel. It can also reduce sulphur emissions, particulates and nitrogen oxides, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from production to use. Our foremost objective is to satisfy customers with high quality transport services capable of maintaining a quality service that will be sustainable and environmentally help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

RGF Logistics would like to congratulate our driver Ryan who, this morning, passed his LGV cat C+E test with our in-house training. Ryan joined RGF when he was 20 years old with only a car licence and worked in the warehouse and progressed to driving a sprinter van learning the ropes. In August 2015, he passed his theory tests and started his LGV cat C training in September that year and passed first time. Today, after 1 weeks LGV cat C+E training he passed his driving test first time with only 2 minor points aged 25. Well done Ryan and RGF Logistics Training.
