'The Hive' Wirral Youth Zone, is a purpose-built facility for the city’s young people aged 8 – 19 and up to 25 with a disability.

The Youth Zone is located next to the new fire station on Bright St in the centre of Birkenhead and officially opened on April 8th 2017!

THE LEMONADE PROJECT 🍋 We have a very exciting opportunity for our JUNIOR members! (ages 8 - 12) The Lemonade Project 🍋 is a fantastic chance for our members to learn how to build resilience, handle their emotions and gain positive coping strategies that will help them overcome challenging times. This project will run every Wednesday 5pm - 6pm, for 6 weeks, starting 4th September! Attendance to at least 4 sessions is required. Only 10 JUNIORS per session! It's going to be a fantastic project - we will start by making lemonade and then make dream catchers & stress balls, we will also play topic focused games every week. If you are interested sign up with Kat or Reception!
Young Leaders Takeover
ITS A YOUNG LEADER TAKEOVER!! On Holiday Club today we have our Young Leaders in who have planned a fantastic selection of activites for our junior members... it's even fajitas for lunch!!

JUNIORS!! 😆 Did you know we have a Creative Writing Club every Sunday 5pm - 6pm? For the next few weeks we will be focusing on these 2 fantastic competitions with amazing prizes up for grabs! The Readnowwritenow Competition - * 'Space Chase' theme * Write a short story * Up to 1000 words * Prizes include a family ticket to panto & £25 book vouchers!! The Merseyrail Competition - *3 themes to choose from based on locations and a topic; West Kirby (based on the environment), Chester (historical story set in the past) & Crosby Beach (a haunted scary story) * Up to 1000 words * Prizes include £50 book vouchers & £50 travel vouchers!! It's a great time to get the creative juices flowing & with these incredible competitions it's an opportunity not to miss!!
