Hosted by the Wirral Christian Centre church (including some familiar Winston's Place faces), you're all invited...so ask at the nursery office for more info, or check out the church page for more...
So....as the weather has stayed dry for us today, we will be setting off our fireworks around 4.30pm in the garden at our Birkenhead nursery. If you can join us that would be great, and you would be very welcome. Hope to see you there :)

We went on a lovely Autumn walk to New Ferry park and Port Sunlight today. The children enjoyed crunching in the leaves, collecting conkers (which the staff enjoyed too!!) and we found a baby frog... lots of new learning experiences...
People Who Help Us
Winston's New Ferry have been learning about people who help us and have had the local fire station visiting us and have been joining in with lots of fun activities including traffic light fruit smoothies.. fun games to strengthen physical skills and lots of messy play.. more to follow :-)

Winston's New Ferry have welcomed a new friend this week... Winston Bear.. He is looking forward to coming home with your little ones and having lots of adventures...

Meet Geoff the Giraffe.. and take a look at all the fun the Cherry Blossoms and Daffodils have been having in Jungle swamp messy play (peas & spinach!), painting snakes on bubble wrap and Tiger shaving foam... WE LOVE MESSY PLAY!!!
So, today is the day :) All of our Fabulous Foundation 1 Children are Graduating from Winston's Place Birkenhead and New Ferry today. You have all done exceptionally well and we are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved. We know that you will excel at your new schools and have a fantastic time. We wish you all the best, and send you on to your new adventures with big hugs and lots of love xxx To all our Foundation 1 Parents, we look forward to seeing you: *11.30am for New Ferry Graduating Ceremony held in St Mark's Church *1.30pm for Birkenhead Graduating Ceremony held in Wirral Christian Centre Church Minor Hall .......tissues at the ready :) See you all soon xx

The Daffodils in New Ferry have the Fruity Friday Feeling.. We have been making fruit smoothies this morning and talking about the different textures of the fruit we were putting in them.. why not try this healthy activity with your little ones.. all you need is fruit, ice and a blender :-)

And....WE DID IT!!!! We made it to Friday! Well done everyone! The Poppies children came out to cheer on their friends this afternoon and most of them chose to have one last turn through the Sport-a-Thon course. Here are the photos from today...
