Wonderful sunset at the nursery today. We're looking forward to meeting Helen from the RHS tomorrow. Hope she likes the nursery.

We've been renting land on a farm just outside Billericay, Essex for the past 18 months as the home of the nursery. It's made such a difference to us and the range of plants we can grow now (due to the extra space) is very exciting. For those of you who are yet to visit us at the nursery, we currently have 3 areas where we grow our plants. We are however, soon to move into a fourth larger area which we're really excited about. This new area will be predominantly for us to grow the plants for the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2017.

Our long-awaited website is in the final stages of construction. After what seems like an eternity we are almost ready to launch. Loading around 1500 different plants has taken a long time and their accompanying photos even longer. All the photos are our own as we have to be aware of copyright issues. It has taken nearly a whole season to photograph everything and there are still some gaps. Hopefully these will be completed in 2017.

Yesterday was a lovely autumnal day at the nursery. Following the delivery of the new display benches we continued our reorganisation of the nursery areas but there's still lots to do. Pots and pots of spring flowering bulbs are being prepared and labelled ready for our early 2017 sales. We did have a couple of helpers though. Moving the pots around allowed them to feast on the tiny worms and little bugs we disturbed. As a thank you we were treated to a number of songs.
Our first post is to celebrate our acceptance to exhibit with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) next year. We have today received a letter from the RHS to say we have been accepted to exhibit at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in July 2017. Our flabber has been well and truly gasted! What an amazing privilege. Well the hard work and organisation starts now I guess. Watch this space for the Hampton preparation updates over the forthcoming months.
