Basefit Training is a fitness centre offering functional circuit classes and legs and abs classes.  Along side it's PT service both 1-2-1 and group. Basefit Training has been born out of the love of all things fitness and over 10 years of Personal Training experience.  Basefit Training uses a combination aerobic, interval and functional training, body weight exercises as well as Olympic and strongman exercises to help everyone no matter what their level reach their goals with a "better than yesterday" attitude.

We also offer Personal Training on a 1-2-1 or small group level for those who need a little bit more.

Great week as always you lovely hot and sweaty lot 😊 this weekends classes brings the last Sunday hypertrophy as it is moving back to a Tuesday at 8pm as of 1st May. We will also be adding a kids (8-15) class to the timetable which will start on Saturday the 5th May at 10am. Saturday 9am Sunday 9am mixed 10am baseLIFT So the big question is what do you guys want Tuesdays hypertrophy it to be?

I’m not fit enough 😫 I’ve got no strength 💪🏻 I’ve got an injury/ailment 🤒 I’ve heard it’s really hard 😰 These are all common messages or posts we to the page every week so today I thought along with answering each and every question as best and honestly as I can I can talk you through the process and the thought that goes behind basefit for those who are thinking or have been thinking about joining us. Having attended numerous circuit classes over X amount of years some good, some bad and some somewhere in between my plan for basefit was to have a more of a “in it together” personal approach and an inclusive “do YOUR 100%” group PT feel rather than a put your money in a tin do a bit and go home. This is why basefit is different to most facilities and circuit classes and I’ll try and explain the 2 main differences and both are interlinked for your benefit and development. The circuit is designed to work each muscle group as well as elements of cardio, each month may focus on one element more than another but everything is in there to lose fat amd weight and to get stronger and fitter. Each circuit stays for a calendar month which gives you time to understand the circuit and progress and development each time you come, like I say more like PT than a class. How do you know you are getting stronger, faster etc if the circuit changes everything you go and you have no reference point? This leads on to the stations, each station has a multiple weight options so EVERYONE can do something on that station, no swopping weights over etc those weights are for you and your progression whatever your ability. The 2 stations I have chosen are both shoulder stations but I could have chosen any so pic 1 upright row with kettlebell this station has 6 bells ranging from 5kg to 32kg so a weight for every ability, got a bad shoulder go heavier and squat the kettlebell 👍🏻 pic 2 shoulder press with dumbbell these weights range from 3kg to 15kg again something for everyone and we can even put you lighter or heavier ones in if you need them. Our instructors are the best around and all qualified personal trainers so if you need something adapting they’ll know exactly what to do. Each station is like this so YOU get the best training and class you can possibly have whatever YOUR goals or abilities and our instructors are here to help if you can’t do any exercise for whatever reason. So if you’ve been thinking about coming hopefully this has helped. BASEFIT IS FOR EVERYONE 🤗
