Impressions of Holy Island
Description
Art Gallery on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Northumberland. Artist: John Tierney. Original oil paintings of scenes across the island, prints and more. John Tierney is an artist from Erdington, Birmingham, UK.
His love for the Holy Island of Lindisfarne started 14 years ago, and the island has since become his spiritual home.
His Oil paintings are all inspired by Lindisfarne landscapes.
Having had successful exhibitions on some of his many visits to the island, he has now opened a gallery on Marygate, in partnership with his brother Jim Tierney.
The gallery is located opposite to the Ship Inn, and next door to the National Trust information Centre.
The gallery is open to the public daily, and opening times will depend on the varying tides.
