We are missing Pancake Day, Valentine’s Day & the Chinese New Year, which all fall during our Half term holidays.. so we chose an early Valentines activity..

Making & playing with play dough have been favoured recently..

The obligatory half term trip to the zoo... saw some of our old favourites & even had a great view of the Wolverine, who normally hides away!

We have had a very exciting day today.. we collected the newest member of the house.. meet Loftus, our 8 week old kitten. We took him to the vets and the children met the vet & were weighed 😃 We also went to Pets at Home to buy Loftus some food & we saw lots of other little animals too..

We have been making autumn sun-catchers this week.. I love how the laminated leaves have worked out 🍂🍁

No shortage of muddy puddles this morning.. sorry to the mummy's 😘 The donkeys came to say hello again too..

Lots of fun with conkers this week.. counting (over 600.. Molly counted them!) sorting by size, using all our maths key words - bigger than, smaller than & then making spider deterrents for the end of the curtain pole..

We have had an amazing summer, thanks for my holiday at the end.. all back to school now, so the normal routine continues.. including the rain on the school run!

It has been a pretty miserable day, but still plenty to see & do at the zoo, we even went on the bus!

Our 'Summer' outings aren't just for the little ones 😉
