CILEx Law School
Description
Are you a current or former student of CILEx Law School? Join this page if you are enrolled with CILEx Law School on any course, or have studied with us in the past. This is the place for you to keep up with friends who have a common interest in law. CILEx Law School provides effective and accessible training for a wide range of professional and vocational legal qualifications. Our emphasis is on quality, innovation, and flexibility in course delivery, coupled with excellence in customer service. We are wholly owned by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and have been delivering legal training for over 30 years.
We specialise in legal training by supported distance learning, with 3,700 students currently training to be solicitors, chartered legal executives, paralegals and secretaries. Our student numbers now also include school leavers setting out in the legal world as legal apprentices. We have been instrumental in the development of legal apprenticeships, which offer employers government funding for training young people in the workplace.

Are you submitting your Client Care or Legal Research assignment at the June 2018 exam session? Submission deadlines are as follows: Level 3 Client Care and Legal Research: • Mock Assignment deadline: 5 February 2018 (midnight) • Assessed Assignment deadline: 5 March 2018 (midnight) Level 6 Legal Research: • Task 1 deadline: 29 January 2018 (midnight) • Tasks 2 and 3 deadline: 5 March 2018 (midnight) Level 6 Client Care: • Mock Assignment deadline: 5 February 2018 (midnight) • Final deadline for submitting your Assessed Assignment: 5 March 2018 (midnight) The deadlines are set to ensure that your assignment is marked once before the CILEx exam entry deadline, which is noon on 6 April 2018. However, your assignment may not reach the provisional pass standard on your first submission. Therefore, we strongly advise that you submit your Assessed Assignment well before the deadline to allow sufficient time to make any amendments required to your Assessed Assignment. Please note that you have to achieve a pass in all tasks and so most students will need to amend their Assessed Assignment and make a second submission. To allow time for remarking, you should submit your work ahead of the deadline if at all possible. If you have any questions do get in touch!
Happy New Year from all of us at CILEx Law School!
