facebook.comA massive well done to Emma for passing her driving test this afternoon, first attempt at it and picking up just four minor faults as well - grand result! Emma - whose hobbies include being a farmer, loving Justin Bieber and trying to break the record for the crappest moped ever owned* - was banking on a good result so she can get around a bit easier, especially when she starts her next term at the farm school. She's already motored up, got herself a Volkswagen Up! in the barn, and hopes one day to trade up to her favourite car - a Hyundai I10. Good luck Emma, hope your dreams comes true! Congratulations lass, terrible banter on the lessons but redeemed yourself with a great result! 😂 I celebrated with a falafel.... (*not a real record)
Running late as usual 😂 but a big congratulations to Connor for passing his driving test in style yesterday, getting his pink licence at the first attempt and picking up just 5 little minor faults on his way. Great result fella! Connor - whose hobbies include going to see the lady at the Spa shop and getting strangers to open his fuel cap at the petrol stations - had to battle the heavy rain and an examiner with a funny accent but still managed to put in a cracking drive to get the result he's worked hard for. He's got his car on the drive* ready to go, a Seat Ibiza, so expect to see a blur of Spanish engineering go whizzing past the windows of Staindrop every night from 5:30 to 10:30 with a brief pause for Emmerdale at 7pm 😂 It's been an absolute joy fella, best of luck with the rest of your college course and don't forget to wave on your way past! I celebrated by eating a vegetarian sausage... *Well, not on the drive. That pleasure goes to the car his granddad parked there three years ago, took the wheels off and never went back for 😃
Running a bit late with this one but a hearty handshake to Lynden for passing his driving test yesterday, picking up an embarrassingly low three minor faults on his way round. Well, I say on his way round but he got two of them in the car park at the test centre! Still, great drive and a thoroughly deserved pass, well done lad. Lynden - whos hobbies include refusing to give interviews to local media and having more holidays than Thomas Cook - already has his Corsa insured up and ready to go, so expect to see that broken down around the Gainford area from today onwards!* (Only joking, scientists have actually proven that a young lad in a Corsa is extremely reliable... 😂🚗) On the few days of the year when Lynden is actually in the country he likes to show dogs, recently winning his group at this years Crufts, so having a licence is going to help him get out and about to compete and judge more shows up and down the country. All the best for the future fella, it's been a privilege as always. I celebrated by eating a falafel... *RAC Breakdown Number 0333 2000 999 😉
Running a bit late on this one but congratulations to Irina for smashing her driving test on Monday, picking up a measly 6 minor faults on her way round. Great effort! Irina - who's hobbies include being half Russian/half Korean, doing the housework everyday and refusing to accept handbrakes - managed to squeeze her test in at the last minute, just in time for her to go on holiday today for a whole seven weeks. Seven bloody weeks!!? I'm impressed! Anyway, she's done really well, put the hard work in, stole all my artwork off me, but it's paid off in the end and she has a nice new licence coming her way. Well done, enjoy your holiday!! I celebrated by forgetting to say congratulations for two days... 🙃
🚨WARNING: HAIRY LEGS ALERT!🚨 Warning to my pupils for the rest of the day - it's baking hot, my air-con is knackered and I'm in my shorts! ☀️😂
It's going to take a bit of getting used to seeing Rod in his new white Corsa. I'll be waving at the Po-Po for weeks! 🚓🚨😃
A huge well done to Jack for acing his driving test this afternoon, it was his first shot at it and he only picked up four minor faults on his way round - great result! Jack - who's hobbies include doing Zumba at work, wearing shorts as a way of life and watching his massive television - took the unusual decision to take his test in sweltering heat because he couldn't be arsed to put the air-con on and thought winding the window down would be a fail. Still, as the old saying goes, "It's not HOW you pass your test, it's whether you're hot and uncomfortable during it that counts..." It was a great drive though and he's getting his reward, a nice pink licence is already on the way to his letter box, now all he needs to do is sort a car out. He's young and male so expect to see a brand new clapped out Corsa doing laps soon! 😂 Well done fella, it's been a joy but I won't miss seeing your legs every Tuesday! I celebrated by blowing my rent money in Greggs...

Right, here at Graham Dale Driving Tuition I'm packing up my bow & arrow and heading off to Sherwood Forest for a few days. I'll be back working again next Saturday and I'll also be introducing some interesting new services... 😮 IN-CAR CARD PAYMENTS. Sick of never having money? Pretend it doesn't even exist and just swipe your bank card down my swanky new card reader machine! REFER A FRIEND. I've always had this offer but it's been pretty half-arsed, this time we're going big on it. Having lessons with me? Got a mate? Get your mate to start learning with me as well and you'll get free lessons, simple as that. LONGER LESSONS. I'm bringing in a four hour lesson option for those who can handle it - great for people living out in the sticks, even better for people wanting the keys to their Corsa quicker 😂. More intensive, more learning, less wasting time getting to and from Darlo. SPREAD THE COST OF LEARNING. Learning to drive is one of the most rewarding things you can do, but, although it's great value for money, the cash does tend to go out your back pocket thick and fast. You'll be able to pay a low-rate monthly bank transfer till the lessons are paid off. THE FULL PACKAGE. One number to take care of the lot - The Highway Code, Theory Test Pro, your Theory Test, all your lessons and your Practical test - it doesn't get more straight forward than that. THE EXCHANGE. Make me an offer - I'm always on the look out for new things such as phones, tablets, cameras etc... if you've got some good quality stuff that you'd swap for lessons then we might be able to do a deal. So there you go, something for everyone! I'll have all of this up on the website next week or you can DM me for deets (that's how us young 'uns say details 😂) if you prefer. Well it's been a headline-making day here at Graham Dale Driving Tuition with TWO MASSIVE events!! Firstly, a huge well done to Ellie for acing her driving test this afternoon, first time trying and with just six little minor faults, brilliant result! Ellie - who's hobbies include swearing like a sailor on shore leave and refusing to reverse around corners correctly - put the dreaded test nerves to one side and drove like a trooper to get the pink licence that she's worked hard to get. Thoroughly deserved as well. Although, having said that, two of her marks came during her manoeuvre so if you ever see her with her reverse lights on I'd head for the hills if I were you! 😂 Secondly, and arguably the greatest, just as I was walking towards the car to hear Ellie's good news I found a shiny new pound coin on the floor!! What are the chances?! A test pass and free money - I'll write about today in my autobiography... 😂 Well done lass, it really is deserved and it's been a pleasure getting driven around by you. I celebrated by eating a pie...

This week Graham Dale Driving Tuition made the momentous decision to go social, to throw open the doors, to knock down the walls of secrecy and invite the whole world in and witness the magic that goes into teaching people to drive - I went and got myself a Twitter! News of the hotly anticipated account soon spread like wildfire, going viral on a global scale. In fact, just a few short days later, my official account has already amassed almost TWO followers. I'll be using twitter to keep y'all up to date with the latest motoring news, such as what I'm having for lunch, what I'm listening to on my way home and what weather I can see through my window. If you don't want to be left out of the loop, to be shunned in social circles, then feel free to head over to @daley_driving and bring your Bantz...its where all the beautiful people are! https://mobile.twitter.com/daley_driving
A huge well done to Brighitta for passing her driving test this morning, storming her way round picking up just two minor faults as she went. Two! I never knew numbers went so low!! Brighitta - who's hobbies include eating more fruit than is strictly necessary and taking the wrong exit as much as possible - is halfway to giving birth so having a licence will come in handy when she needs to get around in the next few months, especially when the wee lad is born and as she puts it - so she can sneak out shopping when her partner is at work... Congratulations Brighitta, a great result and a fully deserved pink licence heading your way. All the best with the rest of the pregnancy and for the future! I celebrated by watching two girls not understand how walkie-talkies work. Repeatedly. Even though it's been explained to them. Repeatedly. 😂🔫 grahamdaledriving.com
