Waltham Forest College has a long history of providing education and training opportunities for many thousands of students.

Alongside this though we also have things to benefit the public:
1. Smithfield Unit Butchers Shop
We have a shop where you can buy your meat at the college! The Smithfield Unit, which is linked to the old Smithfield College and meat market, not only serves the needs of our catering courses, restaurants and cafeteria, but is also open on Thursdays from 11.30am-2.00pm during term time to students, staff and the public.
2. Forest Hair and Beauty Salon
For relaxation and pampering at affordable prices, look no further than our Forest Hair and Beauty Salons. These salons provide students with first-class training and valuable work experience. Staff, students and members of the public can enjoy a range of treatments performed by the next generation of stylists and therapists. To make an appointment, call 020 8501 8212.
3. Sports Opportunities
There is also a swimming pool here at Waltham Forest College.

Students watching a documentary on Mental Health & Suicide as part of this week's - 'Protect Your Mate Week at WFC'. There will be various activities taking place in the week to promote the wellbeing and safety of our learners.
WFC students took part in a London Metropolitan University Focus Group today! Level 2 through to HND students shared their opinions on what is most important to them when looking for a university. Ranking highest was atmosphere, social life and the benefits of taking certain courses at specific universities!
