It was great to see Gagan climbing so well. Her gear placements were all bombproof and she even managed to get over her distrust of cams. Our movement and technique coaching on Saturday had really paid off as well, the wind did not cause her any problems but it did add to the excitement.....for us both!

Gagan was feeling confident after a few days back out on the rock. She lead away from me on two routes putting in a very calm and capable performance.

Gagan and I managed to finish our three Jagged Globe days in the dry. Back out to Holyhead Mountain where it was very blowy but there was no rain. We watched one brave chap fighting the gales force winds on the top of King Bee crack. He did make it, no mean feat when your jacket is getting blown over your head!

Gagan was up with @Jagged Globe for three days of climbing. Vicky was joined us for the first day so us ladies were living it up in the sun. G managed her first ever HVS which she was very pleased about and managed in fine style, smoothly dealing with the tricky bits and getting up the pitch cleanly. Good effort!

Seem to be spending a lot of time at Tremadog or Holyhead at the moment. The eternal quest for dry rock had us back at Bwlch Y Moch on Saturday. The rock was mostly dry and were it was wet you could generally sneak around the soggy bits....almost.

Out with Foxie again on Wednesday. We were joined by Lou and Ed for a journey up the Idwal Slabs. Foxie was putting it all together, the climbing, the coaching, the short roping. The good time! 😃

We did manage the grade 3 scramble in the dry but things soon required the donning of waterproofs. Pretty blustery conditions prevailed as we headed around onto the East face of Tryfan. But enthusiasm was not dampened.

Back out with Foxie today. We spent the day scrambling with Ed and Lee, it started dry but the weather closed in a bit quicker than we hoped it might.

It was a great day at the office. Laurence and Karen were excelling and having fun at the same time, the most important and enjoyable part of the job for me. In addition it was a real pleasure to be out with Vicky and hopefully contributing positively to my profession too, feel very passionate about that. My job rocks! 😃
