Today in assembly we celebrated the kindness of one of our Year 2 children who, after a very big haircut, donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust 💇🏻😊

It's hard to believe the holidays are coming to an end! We hope you've all had a great summer 😎 Below you will find a few reminders about dates and times for the beginning of the new term. 🔹School recommences on Tuesday 29th August for our P2-P7 children. 🔹Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st will be shorter school days, with P2-P7 children attending from 8.50am-12 noon. 🔹On Friday 1st September our P2s will finish at 2pm and P3-P7s at 3pm. 🔹Our new P1 parents should check the date and time of their initial teacher meeting this week and their own child's individual start date and time. Year 1 couldn't make it to Pickie for ice cream today due to bad weather, so we asked the ice cream man to come to us...🤗

📷 Year 5 had an Egyptian fun day this week to finish off their Ancient Egyptians topic. They played games, danced like an Egyptian and even mummified a few classmates!

We were very excited to have some Irish traditional musicians in school this morning. They played jigs, reels and lots of other pieces that got our toes tapping and hands clapping! 🎶 You might see some of these talented musicians running workshops as part of the Ulster Fleadh, being held in Bangor this summer. Today in our Leavers' Assembly, we celebrated the amazing achievements of all our Year 7 pupils. We are so proud of each one of them and wish them every success as they move on to their next big adventure! #Classof2017 😊
