The idea behind tease started one rainy night in
September 2009. You reading this now means that our
dream has become a reality.
Basically, the idea came to mind many years ago,
during which time Tanya has dragged Stewart into
coffee shops all over the world. Whilst on these regular
visits, we’ve experienced some good service, as well
as some not so good. Well, that's when we thought,
we can do it better!
So, tease is the brainchild of Tanya & Stewart and
along with the help of some close friends, we’ve
created the environment that you see today. This
extends to our website, www.teasecoffeebar.co.uk
where you can register as a ‘friend’ of tease and be
kept up to date with tasting events and special
evenings.
Our aim at tease is to provide you with a warm, friendly
atmosphere where you can experience tea and
coffee as we believe it should be served.
We have both spent numerous days at coffee school,
finding out what goes into and how to deliver the
perfect espresso time and time again... without
compromise! For peace of mind and one eye on the
environment, all our coffee is Triple Certified.
That means it's Fairtrade, Organic and Rainforest
Alliance Certified.
The same attention to detail goes for our range of
Speciality Loose Leaf Teas, delivered to you in its own
pot. Our range is extensive, each unique in their own
way. The tea revolution starts here! Remember you
heard it at tease first!
All we want to ensure is that you feel your visit today is
something different, whether it be the ambience, the
atmosphere or simply the way in which we deliver our
products... Our goal is clear, it's to please you.
Why? Because we’d like to see you again and again.

Going greener update... We’ve read recently that there is a large amount of teabags in circulation that contain polypropylene or other plastics ☹️ At tease, ALL out teas come in loose leaf format - always have done... no plastic teabags here 😊

It's that time of the year again when some of our team move on to pastures new ☹️ it's a shame they're going, but it's an opportunity for some new guys to join our team😊. We have a few vacancies at the moment for permanent positions within our small hard working group. Would suit someone with experience in the coffee shop sector, but this isn't essential as we'll give you all training you'll need 👍🏼 Please get in touch asap if you are interested, start date can be immediate, but we're flexible on this. Going Greener update... We’re awaiting our top up of re-usable tease keep cups, so they should be here soon. All the negative recent press over takeaway single use cups is very topical, so get yours and get 25p off your coffee when you use it. 😊 Also we’re now plastic straw free. Small changes that go a long way to help reduce waste... 😊
Closed from 2.30 on Wednesday 31st Jan. Hi folks, we’re constantly striving and investing to continue to serve you the best coffee we can, so in order for our super shiny new machine to be installed, we’ll have to close for a wee while. So, as above, we’ll be closed from 2.30 on Wednesday and open again normal hours on Thursday morning. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re sure you understand. Thanks... Tanya, Stewart & the team

Christmas Eve - 10am - 4pm Christmas Day - closed Boxing Day - closed 27th - 10am - 4pm 28th - 10am - 4pm 29th - 10am - 4pm 30th - 10am - 4pm Hogmanay - 10am - 4pm New Year’s Day - closed 2nd January - closed 3rd - back to normal opening Merry Christmas everyone from all of us @ tease.
