Hey guys! I really cringe doing this but it's for a good cause. So stick with me! I have recently started a non-profit group / community for those who suffer from chonic (long-term) pain: The Pain Experts https://m.facebook.com/painexperts/ A growing group of experts and health professionals we want to provide a hub of information for everything to do with pain: - types of pain - different pain conditions - myths surrounding pain - medication - exercise - mental health - treatment And much, much more! We will be providing a multitude of different resources: blog posts, video content, podcasts and guest contributions. There are loads of people with many conditions who may benefit from this group, to name a few: - fibromyalgia - polymyalgia - rheumatoid arthritis - osteoarthritis - CRPS - chronic low back or neck pain We ask (beg) that you share this groups with your friends and family, especially those who may suffer from chronic pain. Thank you very much!

Talk about playing with your food! . Most people eat avocados for their fats. But did you know they also contain loads and loads of fibre! Up to 30% of your daily requirements.

Nuts are the go to snack for so many people when they try to eat healthy. And rightly so. . They are full of many important macro and micronutrients. . Typically they are full of fat - and therefor calorie dense. They also contain a respectable amount of protein and are full of fibre and many important vitamins and minerals. . However when trying to maintain a calorie deficit whilst dieting snacking on these can very quickly increase your daily intake and because they are so small it's easy to eat more that you thought you have. . Couple with this the protein present in most nuts are incomplete proteins and therefor you would have to eat these nuts in combination with other foods to reap the benefits of consuming complete proteins. . Overall this will again increase your daily calorie intake.
