Yesterday was my last day in the cafe and wow, what a fantastic day to go out on. We were so busy we had run out of pretty much everything by 12 and had to make a dash for more! I just want to say a massive thank you to the people of Bacup (and surrounding) who have made us feel so welcome and supported us over the past year. I have met the most amazing people and am genuinely touched by your kind words, cards, gifts etc over the last week... Bacup is my hometown and is the reason why I chose to set up Jude's here... the funniest, honest, weirdest and most wonderful people live there! The new owners Richard and Wendy will be starting on Tuesday who are absolutely lovely. They will be in the capable hands of my girls who will be showing them the ropes! They have lots of great ideas and will be changing the name of the business to coincide with the new shop signs going up towards the end of the month. I'm going to really miss this place... Thanks for everything 😙
