Meet Officer Commanding 1365 Aylesbury Squadron Flight Lieutenant Ian Toye. He recently joined the Aylesbury Squadron in July. He has a long background in aviation and now currently works for Airbus. We are happy to have him in command.
We would like to thank Halton Aeroplane Club for taking 9 of our cadets flying this morning. We had a great time and we hope the cadets left your planes nice and clean 😊
We are delighted that Sgt Fern and Cpl Tagg passed their "Method of Instruction" course this evening and are now able to teach other cadets - congratulations and very well done to both of you
We are delighted to be involved in this great day out - but we do need your help. As part of the fund-raising, we will be selling teas, coffees and lots of nice bits to eat, but only if you can donate them to us. Anything you can provide would be great from Cakes to Sausage Rolls. All donations gratefully received, either at the Squadron this Thursday night, or at 9.30am on Saturday 30th at Aylesbury Fire Station Hope to see you there
Hope to see you today at the Bucks County Show, looking like a great day for it!
We do hope you will be able to join us this evening for the Civilian Committee AGM, at the Squadron from 8.00pm
The 1365 (Aylesbury) Squadron Civilian Committee will be holding their AGM on Thursday 24th August. The focus of the Civilian Committee is to manage the Squadron's funds, to fundraise and to provide support to the uniformed staff of the Squadron and cadets as required. This year, three of our committee members have stood down from their roles, ideally we would like at least 8 committee members, from which elections will be held for the positions of Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. At the moment we have only three volunteers for the committee and we would welcome more people to join to ensure we have a strong and successful committee to support the continued activities of the cadets. If you would be interested in joining the committee or being considered for any of the above roles, please contact the squadron via this page or email 1365@aircadets.org. It is a great opportunity to get involved to help in the fund raising that the squadron needs. No previous experience of fund raising or committee membership is required, only enthusiasm!!! The AGM will be held at 8pm and you are invited to join us from 7.30pm onwards for tea and coffee and informal chats. We look forward to seeing you there.
