PLATO CROSS BORDER NETWORKING SEMINAR Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are delighted to offer to local businesses the opportunity to become part of the PLATO EAST BORDER REGION network. The programme offers owner managers a business support forum where they can network and discuss business ideas with established large ‘parent’ companies in the region. These ‘parent’ companies are leaders in their industry sectors, and support the programme by sharing their skills and experience within the network. This is an exciting strategic alliance which will give businesses the opportunity to engage with a network of businesses on a cross border basis. InterTradeIreland Go-2-Tender Lite Workshop - 12th May 2016

GO 2 Tender LITE Workshops 09:30am – 12:45pm, 12th May 2016, Committee Room 1, Craigavon Civic Centre In partnership with InterTradeIreland, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are offering a practical half day workshop aimed specifically at small business owners/sole traders that have never completed a tender before or want to improve their basic tendering skills. It aims to demystify the procedures around pitching for, and ultimately winning some of the 'below threshold' (ie. below £30K or €25k) work that Local Authorities and other Government Bodies/Agencies contract out. The workshop is also suitable for new start-ups that are looking into public procurement as a possible future option, and for those looking to pick up some of the very small contracts. In the afternoon, each participant will also have the opportunity to avail of a 20 minute one to one appointment with an individual mentor to go through their own tender process.
