Happy Sunday everyone! We have been busy the last few weeks transforming our garden which is coming together nicely, no log cabin just yet but all in good time. We picked up this little beauty of console table a few weeks ago and I love it just the way it is. It is very old pine and has been well loved and shows dinks here and there which adds to its rustic charm! Measurements: 90”w x 40” d x 73” h. Just to say the new job I am really enjoying, lots of new systems and loads of medical jargon to get clued up on and most of all the team I am working with are lovely, and what a feeling to have the whole weekend off too!!! 😁 Anyway take a look at this lovely 2 seater Parker Knoll wingback sofa for sale. This is from home and has been in our conservatory but we are putting a sideboard in instead so have no use for it. I am upholstering it’s matching chair presently which we will keep. So today was our last day of trading and we leave you all for the last time as The Vintage Hen House shop. We have been incredibly busy and have to take this opportunity to thank you all for your incredible support over the last 6 years. Our Assistants Emma, Kate, Sue, Kerri,Kelly and lately Jill have been an incredible help, and now forever friends, Our long serving crafters have been lovely especially Pat and Kate, and We’re gonna miss our long serving buddy John immensely. We would like to say it has been an absolute pleasure meeting you, serving you, talking to you and teaching you. We will be painting, selling and crafting in the new year from home in Jo’s Log cabin, once it’s built that is. We have closed on a massive High, and although our beloved shop has closed its doors for the very last time, watch our page in the new year as our craft cabin takes shape and we post items for sale. We cannot wait to get back to picking up the paintbrush, using different brands of paint, and creating in a style that suits us.
