Happy First Birthday to Louie. It's been lovely to see him grow from a tiny puppy to the well balanced dog he is today. Nothing fazes him - he just loves life (and chasing squirrels)

Word of warning. The National Trust have installed a ticket machine at Frensham Little Pond main car park. £1.50. Not working yet. I assume if you're a member you don't pay.

Dogs are loving these frosty walks. Molly flopping and rolling even more than normal. Don't think the swan was so keen standing on the frozen canal.

Louie and Bertie out on a walk together today for the first time. Both under a year old and so well behaved. Andrew went to school with both owners. Small world....
All these sad posts this year. Has been just awful. Let's hope 2017 is a much nicer year.

Poor Lisa and Phil have now lost Rosie just a month after Millie. (Laying furthest away) At 14 years old, she was such an old lady but was still enjoying life in her own way. Will certainly be a quieter household now. xx
Nigel / Charlotte. If you ever wonder why Louie is so tired after his day at Happy Houndz, this could be why. Walk 1 chasing Glen with this stick. Walk 2 chasing after Paddy - who is super fast. One tired Terrier.

My friend Helen had to say goodbye to Archie yesterday. Anyone who walks at Ash common or the Ranges will know Helen with the spaniels. In his younger days he was a wanderer and you could always hear Helen bellowing "Arrrrccchhiieee". I would ring her and say have you lost him?!! Archie developed Epilepsy and just lately had been suffering lots of seizures. He was on so much medication and just wasn't his normal chirpy self. He became dehydrated and went right off his food. So, very sadly, Helen had to make the awful decision that none us want to make. Oscar and his daughter Mika will miss the noisy little devil. My love to Helen and Trevor. xx

And yet another day of sunshine. It's so dry and sandy at Crookesbury - like walking at the beach. Maggie & Baxter - ball obsessed collies. Here it comes..... and got it. And the huge but gentle Kobi.
