Airdrie Unwanted Scooter Club....living the dream since twenty 13!
Well since starting in March 2013, it seems we have moved in to our second year... :D The clubs focus is about getting out and about on the scooters whenever possible. I mean we have them to use...so why not. It's also not about numbers, we're looking to continue to build on current members to have solid group of like minded folk who are looking support the club whenever possible.
Our goal is really to get out there when we can, we want build bonds and support the many other scooter clubs around us as well as our local community and through 2014-15 we will be supporting local Lanarkshire charity 'HOPE for Autism'.
Generally it's about the banter, so if you have an interest in scooters (old and new) or think it's something you fancy getting into then why not come along and meet us.
We meet in Owens Bar, Main Street, Coatdyke. Every Monday evening. Kick of is 7:30pm (summer months - Apr-Oct for a wee run) and 8:30pm (Nov-Mar, when it's cold). Of you need any details or have any questions, then drop us a message or check out our facebook page or web page.
With a drive to encourage 'new blood' to the scene, feel free to pop down even if you just interested in getting into scooters, happy to 'try' help with advice and opinions... :D

Cracking wee run to Ayr yesterday for the Honest Men SC run. Great turn out and well organised ride...and the weather wasn't to shabby either 🙂
Anyone heading to Honest Men run on Sat. Leaving Owens around 10:45-11am and will have a stop around Bellshill/Strathy (to pick up Stu)....all more than welcome to tag on :)

Throwing this one up again, before we look at other options. We have a space on our Dutch Lions trip due to someone pulling out, it's a great price...well better than whats available at the moment. Price is £140, that is for the return journey and a bunk in our 4 berth cabin (so that's the downside...sharing with 3 Unwanted...lol). There may be a £10 name change charge, but we would do our best to get around this (if possible). Dates/Times: OUT: Thursday 7th June 17:00 - Newcastle RTN: Sunday 10th June 17:30 - Amsterdam If interested then drop us a PM and one of us will get back.
