The thought for my day ...😊

Dared to open the door today and begin clearing all that dust. Half the shop and furniture clean. Window cleaner came to clean new windows inside and painters returned to paint the outside while the sun was out. Shop looking good and tomorrow I can begin moving things back into place. Excited to be back so can gather retirement is not in the big plan...yet!! Onwards and upwards

The sun is out. The sky is blue. The air is fresh. The birds are chirping and its good to be alive☉ Today us a wonderful day and I hope to get back into the shop and begin the rebuild. Have a fab day everyone...Spring is here xx

BAD NEWS Weather causing more delay as paint inside still tacky...too cold overnight to dry. Was hoping to be in by 2nd but now 5th. Then Eurica! ☇Originally opened to public on 13th April. ☇Next week is Friday 13th...ooooo perfect! Light at the end of the tunnel. Woohoo ☇Reopening date .. Friday13th April of course! The arches may be gone, but they were simply stuck on a square glass window for decoration. Now we have a blank canvas with which to decorate the windows. Helen and I have been coming up with ideas but outside input is welcome and no, the arches are gone for good!

New shiny windows in. New woodwork in place. Prep work for painting all done and inside woodwork 1st coat...and now rain, hail & snow ...oh and Mercury Retrograde playing again. No parking, traffic lights and traffic queues through Wester Aberdour so good job we are closed as this is due to be on all week!

Day 2...big window replaced today between rain downpours...and trimming began round. Trouble over sign though...won't come off!! Oh dear! Trying again tomorrow!!

The sun was out and the boys made the most of it. Old wood off around windows, 1st two windows replaced and the shop floor covered in more! Big window tomorrow. ..maybe?

The bees have been busy that's us nearly all cleared down so the shop is now closed Keep an eye on here for updates on our progress See you on the other side!!!

Today the hard work begins as we start clearing the shop down for the renovations! We will be open for last minute purchases till about 4 but the windows will be being emptied all day as we prepare to close down. Let the chaos begin

Should have rememberwd when traffic lights and no parking set up outside the shop that Mercury had gone retrograde!! Time to expect things like roads, transportation, communication, post etc to go slow, get delayed etc. Simply smile and accept and not take the bait and all will be well. Retro untill 15 April x

Popped out for a lovely wee walk around some shops and a stop for coffee this afternoon with Xanders Nana! Haven't been to this shop for years, it's full of beautiful Crystals, oils, jewellery and tarot cards! It made me remember that I fetched my bag of crystals out from the cupboard last week and I must give them a clean and find out what each one is again 🌜🔮🌠✨
