I must share our pride.... As some of you may be aware, we had our annual inspection yesterday and today. It was a very positive experience for the whole team. The feedback was exceptional, and each and every one of us are bursting with pride. The two themes that the inspection was based on were Care and Support and Management and Leadership. We can proudly say we were graded 5's (very good) for both themes. This is a reflection of the hard work contributed by each and every one of us. The staff go above and beyond expectations, and have a genuine love for the children and babies in our care, this shines through, and contributes to our high standard service. I'm sure all the staff will be celebrating their success.

We have welcomed 3 new members to our team this month. Ashleigh Giles who is a practitioner with several years experience working in a busy setting joined us as a bank member of staff, she has been working in the Preschool unit, the children have been very welcoming. Anna Banaszek is our new fulltime housekeeper, Ewa is hanging up the apron and joining our staff as support worker, it has been noticed by myself, her colleagues, the director, and parents how nurturing she is with the children while coming in and out of the units doing her duties. She will begin her new role on Tuesday next week. Jade Sim will join us next week as a support worker, she will be doing job share with our well established Jill, this will allow consistency for the babies. What a busy month, it's lovely to see the nursery filling up fast, and progressing well.

Sharlyn and Caitlin attended "Pre-Birth to Three" and the rest of us attended "object Handling" So if any one has a removal needing done we can now handle heavy equipment safely :-) :-) Thanks to Aberlour Futures and ABRRAS for the very well delivered courses.
