Swiss and American songwriters bring quality performing artists from around the world to the Pillow Song Loft in Stans, Switzerland. Pillow Song is a community of artists and music lovers coming together to present music in the finest of settings for both the artist and the listener. Pillow Song is founded by musicians who care about hard working artists, and their fans. We help to create the ultimate performance experience by improving upon the areas where traditional venues can fall short. As long time touring artists, we understand what makes a great concert and what builds a dedicated fan base away from home.
We host concerts at The Pillow Song Loft because we love to bring new music to the listeners in our area- and to listeners everywhere via our youtube channel. We have no external commercial pressures to fulfill, so we are able to craft each concert series in a way that best suits the performance. Traveling musicians can stay with us and enjoy a meal among fast friends.
Concerts are recorded, filmed, and published to PillowSongTV (with permission) to help connect the artist to the community and enhance future performances. We, the PS hosts, cover one song by each artist prior to the show to help promote new artists to our existing fans. We find this collaboration to be another way of welcoming each artist to Stans.
Concert formats vary from evening Candlelight Concerts, Sunday morning Songwriter Brunches, and Songwriter Showcase evenings. We host artists from various genres including Folk, Americana, Classical, Jazz, World and Pop music.
