My daughter has started the summer holiday this week so we have been together all days. Which means she is in all the pictures I took lately :) Was fun and she really liked being part of the scene, but that came together with flour sprinkled on the table where it should not be, eggs broken on the floor, and even the vanilla extract almost to fall (by itself...). Here she was trying to smell the vanilla extract I let for maceration in the last 8 weeks.

My grandma used to have a gorgeous garden with lots of flowers. We never bought flowers, there were so many...right there, every day in front of us. These days I miss that comforting feeling to walk in our garden and move my hand above the silky petals and feel the sweet and herbal smell. Today I have been at the local market and bought lots of fruits and vegetables for the weekend, but the first thing I bought was flowers.
