The representative of the English Speaking Cancer Association (ESCA), Jackie Hillman, receiving the sum of €602.00 from the representative of Guardian Wealth Management, David Russell, with Jim and Margaret. The sale of raffle tickets came to €362.00 and Guardian Wealth Management contributed €240.00. On behalf of ESCA, many thanks to all who purchased raffle tickets and also to Guardian Wealth Management for their generosity.

This weekend five of our Local suppliers are gathering together for a Food tasting day! 11h00 until 17h00 Jim's in Gland will be hosting the event in and outside the shop on Saturday May 21. Joining us for the first time are "il Salernitano" who will be stocking Jim's Gland with a range of carefully selected authentic Italian antipasti, pasta and olives - il Salernitano will be inside and outside the shop offering tastings and you will be able to by their products in Jim's as of Saturday. Safran Cuisine will be providing Indian and Pakistani specialties - and after last weeks very successful launch you will be able to buy a range of appetizers to take home - be warned they sell quickly! Jake and Boer and Brit will manning the BBQ and providing samples of their fine British and South African foods including Fresh sausages, dried meats, pies, sausage rolls and much more... They will also be introducing a new fresh meat service. Last but not least Le Pie will be with us giving out sample of their wonderful "Traditional English Pies with a Local Twist", come try the new range including Chicken Tikka Masala,Tender Beef and Dr. Gabs Ale, or for our vegetarian customers Spinach, Mushroom and Feta.

Come and celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jim's in St. Genis! It will be an outdoor event at the shop on Saturday 30th April with activities taking place from 12noon to 5pm and will include: • BBQ (burgers and sausages) • Fish & chips in take-away packaging • Bar with beer, wine and soft drinks • Live music • Clown and face painting (at no charge) from 2pm to 4pm and other fun activities There will be a raffle on the day with lots of interesting prizes. We will send you the list of prizes when it is finalized. The proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Geneva English Speaking Cancer Association (ESCA) and we are very pleased to accept the offer by Guardian Wealth Management to match the amount collected. On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th April, there will be various discounts in the shop ranging from 10% to 50%.
