Description
The Includeed Community brings together employees, customers and companies around the topics of diversity and equal opportunities in business. We are the Includeed Community. On our online platform, we bring together employees, customers and companies around the topics of diversity and equal opportunities. They all join the adventure to:
● Share their experiences and grade the companies on 8 diversity dimensions (Age, Gender, Sexual orientation, Ability & health, Mental health, Ethnicity, Religious beliefs and Socioeconomic Status);
● Propose effective solutions to decrease inequalities at work and in business;
● Take action in supporting companies in their efforts to ensure equal opportunities;
● Stay informed about diversity news and celebrate the achievements of the Community.
In a word, they get together because our voices can easier build a change when they are gathered.

facebook.comThe Alarming Downsides to Tech Industry Diversity Reports
The tech industry doesn’t just have a #diversity problem. It has a results problem. Major tech companies pour millions of dollars into recruiting, but there remain significant, quantifiable discrepancies—in workforce diversity, in gender equity among people of color, and in representation among top leadership. Even the industry’s annual annual diversity reports, a crucial step towards transparency, can hide vital information and nuance. http://bit.ly/2hsH2CM

Apple's diversity numbers haven't moved much in a year
#Apple is still miles away from achieving parity between its white, male executives and everyone else. In fact, only 20 out of Apple's 107 top executives are women, and only five are defined as coming from an underrepresented minority. #diversity http://engt.co/2gy5Mtf
Do universities’ workforces reflect the diversity of their students?
Higher education is a hugely successful sector, contributing about £40bn to the UK’s GDP annually. But as universities are now massive global businesses, how do they ensure they have a diverse workforce to reflect the people they serve? #diversity http://bit.ly/2fEdOfr
The Difference Between Diversity And Inclusion And Why It Is Important...
The Difference Between #Diversity & #Inclusion, And Why It Is Important To Your Success : "Diversity is the who and the what: who’s sitting around that table, who’s being recruited, who’s being promoted, who we’re tracking from the traditional characteristics and identities of gender and ethnicity — inherent diversity characteristics that we’re born with." "Inclusion, on the other hand, is the how. Inclusion is the behaviors that welcome and embrace diversity. If you are a great leader for inclusion, you have figured out how to embrace and galvanize diversity of voices and identities." http://bit.ly/2fs5DaY
Smart leaders see diversity as an immense opportunity
To maximize organizational leverage of #Diversity & #Inclusion, companies must eliminate the constricting legacy of the “old way,” that set of preconceived notions, conscious or unconscious, which have governed policies and decisions for too long and raise D&I, strategically and operationally, to the level of imperative. https://tgam.ca/2gacrce

Angela Fox, Senior VP and Managing Director for #Dell in Australia & New Zealand, believes the bottom line on #diversity and gender equality is commitment and continuous education. “It’s an ongoing journey, it’s not an end destination,” she says. “To stay competitive, you need to be continually innovating. At the core of that is technology but it’s also great people.”
Here's What Happened When I Started Being Myself at Work
From the film industry to the White House, #diversity is a hot topic across the United States. Although attention rightly remains focused on the big social, political, and legal discussions of race, gender, and religion, this reporter would like to add another angle to the conversation: diversity of perspective. For Suzie Elliott, the key to promoting diversity at work is to create the space for people to be themselves http://for.tn/2fWe5LI
Diversity makes all the difference
As companies extend their geographical reach, and technology changes the way people interact, #diversity isn’t simply about public relations, it’s a #business imperative. If businesses are going to sell products and services globally, they will need a rich mix of employees with varied experience. However a wide swath of companies don’t realise that yet — 76.6% of Australian boardrooms remain almost exclusively white male enclaves, and that women make up 16.3% of Australian chief executives and just 37.4% of all managers. Let's reverse this trend ! http://bit.ly/2fW6XyT
Boardroom innovation all comes down to diversity
"One measure rarely factored in board performance is #innovation. This may be because the question is too big: “How innovative is your board?” is almost impossible to answer in any measurable way. But one function of innovation we can all measure is #diversity. And I believe the more we view diversity as a driver of innovation, the better Canada’s boards, companies and economies will perform."
