Info & support for the Bern DWB Center project The Buddhist Center Bern was founded by Lama Ole Nydahl on request of the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. It was the first DWB Center in Switzerland.
Since 2009 we own a beautiful 350 year old house in the Old town, near the famous Bear Park – «Where Bern has its power» (Lama Ole). We have renovated and decorated over 20 rooms so far. The house is now fully occupied with 12 adults and 4 small children.
We are now building the new Gompa and the common kitchen with living room. In order to finish the work, we need your help!

Januar kommen gleich 2 Highlights auf uns zu. Um 20 Uhr beginnt im Kursaal das Vortragskabarett mit Barbara Balldini über Liebe, Sex und andere Irrtümer. Aha, das wird lehrreich :-) Und im Anschluss um 23 Uhr beginnt die Party im Turbinensaal an der Wasserwerkgasse 15 (Eintritt: 10 CHF). Liebe Freunde! Am kommenden Wochenende - Samstag und Sonntag öffnet unser Buddhismus Zentrum Bern die Türe für alle Interessierte! Wir haben eine tolle Diamantwegslehrerin bei uns - Lena Leonteva aus Russland! Es gibt ein Vortrag am Samstag Abend um 20 Uhr zum Thema "Ursache und Wirkung" und am Sonntag um 11 Uhr zum Thema "Das Lehrer- und Schülerverhältnis". Eintritt je 13.- Verpasst die Möglichkeit nicht! Lena ist langjährige Schülerin von Lama Ole Nydahl und Profi in buddhistischer Philosophie!
