Dear VIS members we regret to inform you that our current Marketing & Media Committee Coordinator (MCC), is no longer holding his position in the board. Thus we are currently looking for a new person who is interested in marketing and media who will stay in Växjö for at least the upcoming semester. See a description of the position below: Media committee coordinator - MCC The Media committee coordinator´s main task is to manage the VIS Facebook page and together with the Information and members coordinator make sure that information regarding activities is being spread to the members and other parties concerned. This can be achieved by creating and distributing promotional material, both online and offline. He/she is responsible for the information boards and the information posted on it and that the organization´s marketing is carried out accordingly. The Media committee coordinator shall actively work towards a functioning and strong Media Committee, The Media committee coordinator shall organize and participate in the Media Committee meetings and be able to inform the board about their work. We are excited to announce that VIS is now in collaboration with the inCampus app! :) This means that you can find our upcoming events within the 'Events' section of the app, as well as finding important announcements and information that we will be posting on the inCampus 'Wall'; plus additional joint-initiatives in the future! VIS aims to ensure that international students at LNU have an enjoyable and connected experience during their studies here at LNU. inCampus is working to connect students to what is going on here on campus as well as to the city of Växjö; and this is why this collaboration has been initiated. Hey everyone! The semester has started and so have the parties, now it is VIS’ turn to help out with Slottsstallarna. Every night when Slottsstallarna is open, all of the workers there are students, so let’s be collegiate and give people who work when we party a chance to enjoy the party themselves. We are looking for 7 people on Thursday 26/10 and 17 on Friday 27/10, so use this chance to have fun working with friends and meeting new people. For every night you work you get - A workers card from Slottsstallarna that grants you either priority in the queue or free entrance - Half a coupon for a lunch buffet in STENladan - Half a cinema ticket for SF Bio After working twice you can stop by our office and pick up your rewards. We will also then add you to the list of people that get an invitation to our “Thank you” event at the end of the semester. During the working hours there you can eat and drink as much as you want for free as long as it is non-alcoholic.
