MUN of Katedralskolan (MUNK) is an organisation in which students from Katedralskolan get together to discuss current events in the same fashion as the UN. This is the Model United Nations (MUN) group of Katedralskolan Skara. The goal of this group, and the idea of MUN is to educate the next coming generations in the United Nations way of process and purpose. As well as to make them engage themselves in political issues and debates.

Anyone willing to engage themselves in MUN in any way is allowed to join the group, though this means that a certain level of engagement in the group and the conduct of MUN conferences have to be kept.

By doing this you'll not only get a great experience to put in your resumé, but also get better at skills that you'll gain through MUN:
* public speaking
* Researching
* Being critic to what you hear on the news and dig deep into the reality of our world
* study others' perspectives and way of thinking
* Being able to formulate yourself with academic English
* Base your opinons on valid facts and research
* learn about diplomacy and conflict solving

As a memeber you should show dadication and commitment to the process to the club by regular attendence and participation
