Today our club has a great diversity in the rowing genre, from the occasional “just-for-fun” rower to the very top elite rower. Our racing shell training takes place at Hjelmsjön, a beautiful lake (equipped with 6 lane allbano system) which lies 30 minutes east of Helsingborg.
In addition to regular rowing, Helsingborgs Roddklubb also practices "Coastal Rowing" and is in fact one of the pioneers in Sweden in this new kind of rowing. Since 2008, Helsingborgs Roddklubb annually hosts the “Helsingborg Coastal Rowing Race” which is, so far, the only coastal rowing competition in the Nordic area.
